Lesson 2: How to Align Yourself to Fit Their Grade Level Team or Department
For anyone who has sat on interview panels, we’re willing to bet that something like this has been said:
“I think any of the top three would be great hires, but I just feel like the second one would fit in best with our department.”
The interview panel often consists largely of teachers who will be working closely with the new hire. That means they’re the ones you need to impress.
Of course, the hiring process is objective, but the fact is that the feelings and emotions of those teachers on the panel undoubtedly play a part.
